14 Young People spent the weekend learning to be Young Leaders at the Districts first Young Leader Training Weekend.
The Young Leaders learnt about the rules of Scouting, how to plan programmes, What type of Games to play, Styles of Leadership, types of Learning and How to deal with Kids behaving badly.
The Weekend was not all work though they also spent time repairing a gate to the picnic area and Air Rifle shooting.
The Young Leaders were so organised by the end of Saturday that the Evening Meal was a Christmas Party!
