Air Cadets at Maids Moreton Cubs

11/10/2005

Article

The Air Cadets form Buckingham's 1563 Squadron visited our cub pack on the evening of October 11th.
They were impeccably dressed, some in camouflage uniform and the others in the more formal blue uniform. They began the evening talking to the cubs about what its like to be an Air Cadet. They are able to start flying at 13, they also riffle shoot and are taught to use radio communications.
Then they surprised the cubs with a drill display, it was loud and impressive. Finally they ended the evening with some team building games.
It was a great evening and best of all, Alex an Air Cadet has volunteered to help us for the next few months, as part of his training. He knows some great games and is a real asset to the pack.
We would like to thank 1563 Buckingham Squadron and look forward to seeing them all again soon.
