Maids Morton Group Camp

100 plus , Beavers, Cubs, Scouts from Maids Morton along with Parents/Group Exec members and some members of the District Explorer Scout Unit
spent the Weekend at Youlbury (Oxford) Campsite.
The Group spent a slightly damp but very enjoyable weekend trying their hand at numerous Activities from Shelter building to Orienteering and
Bridge building to Ariel runway trips.
Saturday Evening was spent round the Camp fire (A 1st Camp fire for some of the members). Thanks go to John Robbins for Leading the Singing and
to the Explorer Scouts for Lighting the fire with a Flaming Arrow !
Sunday Morning, started with a Scouts own, All the Scouts now have an Acorn to plant when they get home, 2 of the Cubs were invested by an Explorer Scout Leader. The rest of Sunday was spent Building then testing out a Monkey bridge.
