09/08/2007 - Not as dangerous as it sounds

Today we started early in the morning so that we could catch the tide across to a huge sand dune across from opinia. When there we tobogganing down the dunes and had competitions to see who could reach the sea first, which lucy won in the process of getting totally soaked. We were the till 1 which also included sand castle building and watching the leaders attempt to toboggan which was funny, expecially when martyn turned round while coming down the slope.

After this we went to see the some of the largest kauri trees in new zealand which were over 50 metres high and over 18 metres round.which was intresting as we were all covered in sand and many had wet shoes.

Then we returned back to the bay adventurer where i am writing this after we have just finished watching top gun.
