06/08/2007 - Cape Brett part 2
Having stayed the night in the Cape Brett Hut with no encounters with furry animals, we got up bright and early and the first group were walking by 9 oclock. We had arranged a rendevous with the boat at 2 pm back at Deep Water Cove, and made it there in plenty of time and had our lunch on the beach.
After a fairly rough return journey on our boat we drove to Puketi forest. The hut there is much more equipped than Cape Brett - it has electricity!!
We plan to walk in Puketi tomorrow and may not be able to post the next report til Wednesday.
